Characteristics: Compact, dense, deciduous shrub with leaves that emerge bright red in Spring. These then deepen in colour as Summer progresses, later showing a crimson-red hue in Autumn.
Growth and Spread: Ultimate height and spread of up to 4m.
Care and Maintenance: Acers prefer partial shade, so avoid prolonged exposure to full sun. It will tolerate most soil types, as long as this remains well-drained and watered well.
